new sushi place in town!!
heard about this new sushi place called "sakae sushi" which is just opened recently at the curve, mutiara damansara after their outlets in singapore, thailand and china. today me, sm, ensun, mok and ben were there for lunch. supposed to meet at noon and as usual almost everyone was late while ben is the first one to come on time.
as usual, the sushi place is furnished with tables all around the conveyer belt that moves sushis around. interesting enough, at the end of each tables, there is a lcd monitor with a mouse attached to it. what's it for? well, it's a system where customers will be able to place any order of items that is not on the conveyer belt like teppanyaki, ramen, sushis and drinks. after you've placed an order, you need to confirmed it before it goes into the kitchen. waiters were also avaible to take any orders if one doesn't trust the system. this is a brilliant idea in order to minimise wait time for ordering via waiters.
the 5 of us had a scrumptious lunch where we ordered lots of sushis, prawn teppanyaki, temakis, ramen and etc etc. personally, i find the food very good compared to those larger sushi chains in town and it's definitely worth going for. price wise is average where some are slightly more expensive and some are cheaper. it really depends on what kind of food that you order. so, give it a try and you would love it!!!
