dad's birthday dinner

today, we celebrated dad's chinese calendar birthday while the actual day is on the 8th september. prior to tonight's dinner, we had plans of getting couple of relatives and friends for the dinner which would be held at my uncle's restaurant sri permaisuri in bandar sri permaisuri. due to a busy week for my parents, we decided not to invite anyone whilst we only have a simple family dinner as part of the celebration.

we had a late dinner earlier with only myself, sm, parents, aunty, cousin and wife. when we arrived at the restaurant, so happen that my uncle whom owns the restaurant was there having his dinner and later he joined us for chats and drinks. we ordered quite a number of dishes such as crab meat sharkfin, steam pomfret fish, chinese wine prawn, fried squid, bean curd fish paste with sprinkle of salted egg yolk, fried noodle with crab, salted egg yolk mud crab and long life noodles ("cheong sau mee"). i was too busy eating the delicious stuffs till i forgotten to take photos.


towards the end of the dinner, we were served fruits and surprisingly there was a birthday cake prepared by my uncle and his colleague without us knowing anything about it. yeah!! you can say it as a surprise for my dad. there we go, sing the happy birthday song and enjoyed the surprise cake. the most important thing is that dad enjoys the night and the companies.
