mooncake festival
it's the 15th day of the eight lunar month in the chinese calendar where chinese around the world celebrated mooncake festival or some called it mid autumn festival. it's a festival where adults prepared offerings such as mooncakes, fruits and etc to the Moon Lady also known as Chang-Er while the younger ones will play with their colorful bright lantern in the evenings. to know more about the mooncake festival historic values, check out this website. as for me, we haven't been celebrating this festival for quite some and normally what we would do is have dinner at a restaurant and mooncakes.
